How do you find the range of numbers?

Please don't sy i'm stupid. I just need to rememver, you know.. just getting back to school, i've forgotten a few things!

Anyway, say you were given the numbers:
1,5,3,7,8,3,8,2,10

would the range be either:
1-10 or 9?

What is a VPN?
