How much time will it take to get to Port Authority Bus terminal from JFK Terminal 4?

I'm arriving at JFK from Amsterdam around 3.30pm this Saturday, and I have to catch a bus at Port Authority at 6pm. Will 2 1/2 hours be enough? Must I take a taxi?

What is a VPN?
